Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 22, 2026
Claudacity is a macOS menu bar app. We built it to be simple and respect your privacy. Here's exactly what happens with your data.
What stays on your machine
All of the following data is stored locally on your Mac and is never transmitted to us or any third party:
- Your Claude Code OAuth credentials (read from
~/.claude/.credentials.jsonor the macOS Keychain) - Usage history and trend data (stored in
~/Library/Application Support/Claudacity/) - Your app preferences and settings
- Notification thresholds and scheduled prompt configurations
What we send to Anthropic
Claudacity uses your existing Claude Code credentials to check your usage via Anthropic's API. No additional data is sent beyond what's required to retrieve your usage status.
License activation
When you purchase and activate a license, the following is sent to LemonSqueezy (our payment processor):
- Your license key
- A machine identifier (your Mac's hardware UUID) to tie the license to your device
We do not collect your name, email, or any other personal information through the app. Any information you provide during purchase is handled by LemonSqueezy under their privacy policy.
Website analytics
The Claudacity website (claudacity.app) uses Vercel Analytics, which collects anonymous, aggregated page view data. No cookies are used and no personal information is collected.
No tracking, no telemetry
Claudacity does not include any analytics, crash reporting, or telemetry in the app itself. We don't know how you use the app, how often you open it, or anything else about your behavior.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
